Plain-language policy
Privacy Policy
Vyces stores your tracking history on your iPhone. Signing in is optional and creates a separate account; it does not upload or sync your tracking history.
Updated September 8, 2026
The short version
Your selected habits, log times, notes, reminder choices, and settings stay on your iPhone. Optional Google sign-in sends basic account information to Supabase, our authentication provider. Your tracking history is not included.
Information the app stores
To provide its core features, Vyces stores information you enter or create in the app:
- the habits and categories you choose;
- habit log events and their date and time;
- custom habit names and icons;
- reminder schedules, appearance, language, and privacy settings.
This information is stored locally on your device. Signing in, signing out, or deleting your account does not upload, transfer, or delete this history.
Optional accounts and Google sign-in
You can use tracking without creating an account. If you choose Google sign-in, Google authenticates you and shares your Google account identifier, email address, and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture when provided. Vyces does not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, calendar, or Drive files.
Supabase processes and stores this information for Vyces to create and manage your account, maintain your signed-in session, and protect the sign-in service. Session credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. Authentication services also process technical information associated with requests, such as IP addresses and authentication events, for service operation and security.
Google account information is used for account access and security. It is not used for advertising, sold, or used to upload your tracking history. Vyces does not contain third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Google and Supabase process information as described in their respective Google Privacy Policy and Supabase Privacy Policy.
Beta diagnostics
Apple may process TestFlight diagnostics and feedback under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. That processing is provided by Apple, not by a Vyces analytics system.
System features
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Vyces asks iOS for notification permission and schedules notifications locally on your device.
Face ID and Touch ID
If you enable app lock, authentication is handled by iOS. Vyces receives only the authentication result and never receives or stores your biometric data.
Exports
When you export Markdown, CSV, or JSON, you choose where the file goes using Apple’s system interface. Once exported, the destination you select controls that copy.
Retention and deletion
Your information remains on your device until you remove it through available app controls or delete Vyces. Deleting the app removes its local container from the device, subject to Apple’s device backup and restore behavior.
Before deleting the app, you can export a copy of your history from Settings or History.
If you create an account, its information is kept to provide account access until you delete the account. Use Delete account in the app’s account screen to request removal of the account from Vyces authentication. Deleting the app or signing out does not delete a server-side account. Deleting an account does not delete the local history on your iPhone.
You can also remove Vyces access from your Google Account connections. Authentication providers may retain operational, backup, or security records under their retention policies. For account or deletion requests, contact zhuck182@gmail.com.
Children
Vyces is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If Vyces changes how it uses your information, including adding cloud sync, analytics, or another form of data transfer, this policy will be updated before that behavior is introduced. The date at the top will show when the policy changed.
Contact
Vyces is operated by Konstantin Zhuck. For privacy questions or requests, email zhuck182@gmail.com. During the beta, you can also use Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight. See Support for details.
